Unlocking.Innovation

Many organizations are keen on adopting customer- and user-centricity, the agile way of working, using innovative methods as well as setting up cross-functional self-organizing teams.

Both, agile and design thinking, have in their core customer-centricity, visualization, short cycles, and cross-functional teams so that agile and design thinking can be a powerful combination. Other types of best practices and frameworks, when applied appropriately at the right stage of product and organization development, can also be very powerful as a part of the Design Thinking and agile or separately as stand-alone facilitation, visualization, or planning tools.

However, most of the methods, tools, and frameworks are not universally applicable to every organization, every team, every product, at every point in time. There are better practices than others for a given challenge at a given stage of a company’s or product’s lifecycle.

Therefore, in this portfolio, you can choose from a variety of consulting and coaching services that benefit your current situation and demand.

  • This service benefits you, if…

…Your organization decided to adopt the agile way of working and is still choosing which agile frameworks to adopt

…Your organization decided to adopt a particular agile framework

…Your organization decided to scale the agile way of working

…Your organization wants to establish collaboration processes for continuous discovery and delivery

    What to expect

We will start with an agile assessment of your organization, that would include a 360 view of your culture, processes, and tools. After this assessment, we will connect business and strategic goals to the product or service development, refine the vision and development roadmaps, as well as establish a company-specific approach based on a common agile framework, and set up rituals, processes, and tools for teams in transition. We will apply the “Inspect&Adapt” approach not only to your products but also to your teams by refining and improving the practices and processes they use for the discovery and delivery of their products.

  • This service benefits you, if…

…Your organization is going through an agile transformation

…Your teams/organization is focusing on the agile mindset and cultural shift

…Your organization wants to implement a “coach-the-coach” approach with their Scrum/Agile masters

    What to expect

Just like during an agile consulting assignment we will start with a 360 agile assessment. We will identify the areas of improvement and align on the most important aspects. After that, we will focus on working with teams together with their leaders and coaches to align on key parameters for measuring success, co-create action plans and iteratively move forward in the transition process. This will combine facilitated co-creation, collaboration, and brainstorming sessions within teams and across different product and functional teams as well as individual and team coaching.

  • This service benefits you, if…

…You have a problem to solve, but have not yet decided which solution to implement

…You have a product or service idea in mind and are open to experimenting around this idea

…You want to run a design sprint and are open to hypothesis-driven experimentation

    What to expect

Within two weeks your team will work towards a working prototype of a service or product. Together we will shape the exploration by processing desk and field research. In facilitated ideation sessions the team will define a problem statement, brainstorm, and define possible solutions for the given challenge. In the next few days, one of these ideas will be selected for an experiment and the prototyping will take place. After testing the product prototype with real customers, collecting feedback, and improving the idea, the team can either move towards implementation of this idea or pivot to another approach, based on the customer feedback.

  • This service benefits you, if…

…Your organization is not agile and currently is not planning an agile transformation

…Your team wants to improve processes for discovery and product delivery

…Your team wants to improve collaboration and communication within the team

    What to expect

Depending on the product development stage, available resources, and most pressing issues for your team, we will select several tools and practices to support your teams in the discovery and delivery stages of the product development. The focus of this selective approach is on conducting research and user-centered design, mapping customer experiences, choosing tools for shaping product vision, and structured communication and visualization of product roadmaps.
