The main goal of the courses in my portfolio is to build sustainable knowledge and a shared in-depth understanding of principles, common terminology, and key tools and methods across your organization. This approach aims to support your employees, leaders, and teams in adopting the agile way of working and applying innovative methods and frameworks. Each course consists of a theoretical foundation suitable for the participants’ level of experience in agile and innovation accompanied by interactive exercises and simulations that allow participants to connect agile principles to the work they actually do on a day-to-day basis. 

All courses are available in German and English languages.

  • In the course “Agile Basics” participants learn the fundamentals of the agile way of working and get introduced to the basics of the most common agile frameworks. The course focuses on agile mindset and agile values, as well as highlights challenges and best practices for teams and companies in the early stages of transition to the agile way of working. During workshop exercises, the participants will apply some of the tools and techniques we will be talking about and work in co-creation within small teams to learn from participants with diverse backgrounds.

    Target audience 

    The course is suitable for participants without prior knowledge and experience of working in an agile environment.

    What you’ll learn

    Gain insights on different approaches to the agile way of working as well as a deeper understanding of agile principles, common terminology, and key tools and methods, such as Impact and Story mapping, and learn how to execute product ideation and delivery in a fast-paced and complex environment.

    Format and involvement

    For in-person courses, each training day is planned for eight hours (incl. lunch and coffee breaks). The course “Agile Basics” takes place on two training days.

    For the online version, the course  “Agile Basics” is divided into four half-day modules and takes place over the course of one week.

  • In the "Agile Product Development" course, participants learn how to create a product vision and deal with fast-changing requirements and customer feedback. The course "Agile Product Development" focuses on the role of a product owner and practical application of innovative methods and techniques as well as on identifying customer needs and gaining early customer feedback.

    Target audience 

    The course is suitable for participants with a focus on product development, such as project managers and team leaders in the transition to the role of a Product Owner, as well as domain experts and team members that perform requirements engineering and business analysis. Although Day I includes a refresh of the Product Owner role according to the Scrum framework, prior knowledge of agile basics and the Scrum framework is required for the course to be beneficial for all participants.

    What you’ll learn

    Gain a deeper understanding of the empirical process, value-driven, and domain-driven development. During workshop exercises, participants learn how to deal with requirements, customer feedback, product constraints, and how to break down the product vision at different levels of abstraction and communicate effectively to stakeholders and development teams.

    Format and involvement

    For in-person courses, each training day is planned for eight hours (incl. lunch and coffee breaks). The course "Agile Product Development" takes place on two training days.

    For online courses, the course “Agile Product Development" is divided into four half-day modules and takes place over the course of one week.

  • In the “Design Thinking Basics" course, participants learn the basic principles of Design Thinking. In the course “Design Thinking Basics, participants will understand and apply the Design Thinking mindset, process, and tools. This course explains the cultural implications of Design Thinking and encourages to actively use Design Thinking. Participants work on a fictional design challenge over the course of two training days, including compressed prototyping and testing phases. 

    Target audience 

    The course is suitable for participants without prior knowledge and experience with Design Thinking.

    What you’ll learn

    Learn all stages of the Design Thinking process and apply key tools of Design Thinking in a learning-by-doing approach. During workshop exercises, participants learn how to prepare and conduct research, use such methods as Stakeholder Mapping, Personas, Customer Journey Mapping, and Service Scenarios as well as structure customer feedback. 

    Format and involvement

    The course “Design Thinking Basics” is available only as an in-person course and takes place on two training days. Each training day is planned for eight hours (incl. lunch and coffee breaks).

  • The focus of the course “Modern Leadership” is set on creating a sustainable corporate culture, agile leadership, and transformation process, as well as on benefits of the agile mindset, best practices for self-organizing teams that support the personal and professional growth of employees, increase motivation and strengthen collaboration. The course provides a foundation for transitioning to a modern way of leading and can be beneficial for organizations going through the agile transformation process.

    Target audience 

    The course is suitable for participants with no previous experience in the agile way of working. This course is most beneficial for participants that are transitioning to a leadership role and/or currently are leaders in an organization moving to the agile way of working.

    What you’ll learn

    Deep-dive into different leadership styles and typology of organizational cultures as well as the key factors for a successful agile transformation. During workshop exercises, participants learn how to facilitate co-creation, support self-organizing and cross-functional teams and apply the foundations of servant leadership.

    Format and involvement

    The course “Modern Leadership” is available only as an in-person course and takes place on two training days. Each training day is planned for eight hours (incl. lunch and coffee breaks).
