Professional coaching is often described as a vehicle that transports a very important person to where they want to go. Professional coaching can provide guidance, help to find clarity, gain confidence and maximize an individual’s potential. 

In my coaching practice, I build upon Ericksonian principles and solution-oriented coaching. Solution-oriented coaching encourages coachees to take personal responsibility and focus on future actions to achieve a specific goal using resources available to them. Solution-oriented coaching can also be defined as an “outcome-focused approach”.

Individual Coaching

What to expect?

In our first conversation with the coachee, we will assess the coachee’s current challenges and goals, as well as deep-dive on solution-oriented coaching principles. Although we will focus on career-related topics, unlike in mentoring, there is no specific career path or industry a coachee has to pursue being eligible for professional coaching. 

If your organization would like selected employees to receive professional coaching, we will discuss the goals the sponsors set for the coaching relationship in a one-on-one session with the sponsors, followed by an in-take one-on-one conversation with the coachee on how they view their goals for the coaching relationship. 

To conclude the in-take process, we will have a shared session with the coachee and the sponsors to align on the goals and the coaching relationship approach. Once a coaching relationship is established from the coachee’s and sponsors’ perspectives, confidentiality will apply to the content of coaching sessions throughout the coaching relationship.

I usually recommend eight sessions á 60min long over the period of six months, although I will be as flexible as possible to establish a working partnership that suits you best. Currently, individual coaching is available in German and English.

Team coaching

What to expect?

A series of team and individual coaching sessions over the period of twelve to eighteen months. The actual approach can be aligned after in-take sessions with the sponsors of the coaching relationship and the team.
