Unlocking.Talent

One of the most important factors of success for creativity and innovation is the people. The more leaders lead with emotional intelligence and servant leader mindset, the more empowered teams and team members feel at their workplaces. The more empowered employees feel in their organization, the more this organization attracts talent. The higher talent density in an organization, the more innovation, creativity, and growth this organization can achieve.

Investing in attracting of best talent and employees’ development through mentorship programs is therefore crucial for every modern organization. Individual professionals also benefit from structured and goal-oriented mentoring, especially when they are going through a transition to a new role, are adapting to a new environment, or planning the next step of their careers.

  • This service benefits you, if…

…You are a professional in the digital product and service design industry

…You are an expat adapting to a new culture

…You are transitioning to a new role within your organization

…You are transitioning to the tech industry from another industry

…Your organization wants its selected employees to be mentored on one of the focus areas

    What to expect?

In our first conversation with the mentee, we will assess your current challenges and goals, identify the main focus areas for your mentorship and align on key points for measuring your progress. I usually recommend ten sessions á 60min long over the period of six months, although I will be as flexible as possible to establish a working partnership that suits you best. Currently, mentoring is available in German and English.

If your organization would like selected employees to be mentored on one of the listed focus areas, we will first discuss the goals the mentorship sponsors set for the mentorship. This will be done in a one-on-one session with the sponsors, followed by an in-take conversation with the mentee on how they view their mentoring goals and main focus areas. To conclude the in-take process, we will have a shared session with the mentee and the mentorship sponsor to align on the main focus areas, goals, and key points for measuring the mentee’s progress. After that, the mentorship relationship will be established and processed on the agreed terms.

    What are the focus areas?

Every mentoring partnership is going to be different, but the most common areas of focus are cross-cultural and cross-functional work environments, guiding individuals through the transition into a new role as well as career planning in the digital product development and design industry.

  • If your organization wants to establish a mid-to-long-term mentorship program for its employees, we will assess together with the leaders, human resources, and employees the expectation and goals of the mentoring program. After that, we will shape the mentoring topics, focus areas, matchmaking processes, and guidelines for mentors and mentees. In the implementation and stabilization phases of the mentorship program, mentor-the-mentor is highly recommended to support new mentors in their learning process and professional development.
